The company has introduced a lineup of electric scooters, including the Ola S1 Pro, Ola S1 Air, and the newly unveiled Ola S1 X. Recognizing the need for a more comprehensive approach to dominate the market, Ola Electric is expanding its offerings beyond scooters to include motorcycles. Four exciting concepts have been introduced: the Ola Cruiser, Ola Adventure, Ola Roadster, and the high-performance Ola Diamond Head Super Sport. Ola, the prominent electric two-wheeler maker, is gearing up to introduce a new electric bike in the Indian market on August 15. CEO Bhavish Aggarwal confirmed the news by sharing a teaser on Twitter, announcing an electrifying event called "End ICE Age Part 1" on Customer Day. The upcoming electric bike will be showcased at Ola's FutureFactory.

Kawasaki has recently obtained type approval for the Ninja e-1 and the Z e-1 in Australia. These electric motorcycles were first showcased at EICMA in November 2022. The specifications reveal a homologated power output of 9 kW or 12 bhp, which is relatively modest and similar to the power output of 125-150 cc motorcycles in India. However, the peak power output is anticipated to be slightly higher than the continuous rated output of 9 kW.

On August 2, Hero MotoCorp, the largest motorcycle manufacturer in India, increased the prices of its Harley Davidson X440 by Rs 10,500 to Rs 239,500. The price hike applies to all variants of the bike, but it is currently available at an introductory price of Rs 2,29,000 until August 3. Customers can book the motorcycle online with a booking amount of Rs 5,000.
