Your Heart Benefits Even If You Exercise as a ‘Weekend Warrior’
It is well known that exercise is good for health, especially for preventing heart disease.
Current guidelines, such as those from the World Health Organization and the American Heart Association, recommend at least 150 minutes (2.5 hours) of moderate to vigorous physical activity per week to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and death, but these guidelines do not specify how to allocate this time.
