UPSC Recruitment 2023: 56 Aviation Staff Vacancies and Other Jobs Available
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started online recruitment applications for 56 Aviation Officers and other post vacancies. Vacancies and positions are detailed below. Candidates have until August 10 to submit the online application at the latest.
UPSC Recruitment 2023: Details of vacancies :
- Aeronautical Officer: 26 posts
- Principal Civil Hydrographic Officer: 1 post
- Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II: 20 posts
- Scientist ‘B’: 7 posts
- Assistant Geophysicist: 2 posts
- Total - 56 vacancies.
Applicants need to pay a fee of INR 25 only, which can be done by cash transfer at any SBI branch, through the bank's internet banking or by paying with Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit/UPI cards. SC/ST/PwBD/Women applicants are exempted from paying the application fee.
Eligibility Criteria for Aeronautical Officer :
Degree in aeronautical, electrical, electronic, mechanical or metallurgical engineering from a recognized university. Two years of experience in aircraft design and development, including aircraft electrical, electronic or mechanical systems, or airworthiness engineering.
Eligibility Criteria for Principal Civil Hydrographic Officer :
University Master's Degree in Civil Sciences, Computer Science, Information Technology Engineering, Mathematics, Geography, Geophysics, Computer Applications, Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or passing the final exam of the Surveying Institute.
Eligibility Criteria for Senior Administrative Officer Grade II:
Degree from a recognized university or institution. Three years of experience in administrative, institutional or accounting tasks.
Eligibility Criteria for Scientist ‘B’ in Botanical Survey of India :
Master of Science in the required discipline (ie Botany/Horticulture/Organic Chemistry) from a recognized university or equivalent.
Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Geophysicist in the Geological Survey of India :
Master's Degree in Physics or Geophysics or Geology or Mathematics from a recognized University or Institute; OR BE or AMIE in Electronics or Communication from a recognized University or Institute.
