The COVID 19 pandemic has changed our lives for good. From the way we work and study to the way we shop and meet people, most of our daily business has shifted to the digital mode. This major shift has also brought with itself significant disruptions in lifestyles and routines, along with compounding anxiety and stress that we face every day. Even as organizations have turned to remote working, work life balance has blurred resulting in unintended consequences such as longer working hours, massive reduction in physical activity, increasing mental stress and unhealthy diets. These lifestyle changes have not only been taxing on the body and the mind but have had negative consequences on people’s skin health as well. Similarly, with use of digital devices increasing manifold, blue light exposure has significantly increased having harmful effects on the skin as well as on the body’s circadian rhythms.
